Marco van Ginkel is keen to return to Chelsea this summer and prove his worth to boss Jose Mourinho.

The 22-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with Milan but has struggled to make an impact at San Siro.

The Dutchman was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge last summer and was sent to Milan in the hope that the Serie A side would complete a permanent move this year.

Milan have informed Chelsea officials that NO deal will take place and that he will return to England in June.

And, the Netherland’s international has discusses his intentions to prove himself to Blues boss Mourinho.

“Staying at Milan? Anything is possible, there is no reason to rule it out,” Jansen told Voetbalprimeur.nl. “It is early and we need to see what would happen in case there’s a change of management at the club.

“Additionally we have to deal with Chelsea and see what Marco wants to do. Chelsea is still his goal. We hope to conclude everything before the end of the transfer window.”
