Chelsea’s veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech is apparently set to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to former Blues coach and player Ray Wilkins.

The Czech Republic international is known to be disgruntled at sitting on the bench behind Thibaut Courtois, who has established himself as Jose Mourinho’s number one after three successful season loans to Atletico Madrid.

And, it is understood that the French side are keen for him to replace Salvatore Sirigu next season.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs including Arsenal and Inter Milan, but Wilkins’ recent comments have now made Laurent Blanc’s side clear favourites.

Wilkins made his comments on beIN Sport after PSG were beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
