Paris Saint Germain boss Laurent Blanc has denied reports of an offer for Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

The Brazilian will see his current deal at the Camp Nou expire in the summer and he has been linked with a whole host of top European clubs, with both Manchester United and PSG linked.

However, the latter have taken steps to deny their interest and reports that a deal had already been agreed with the former Sevilla defender.

“There has not been a concrete offer for Dani Alves,” the PSG coach told reporters. “He is a Barcelona player and it would not be the best moment to contact him.

“He has a commitment with Barca, we also do from here to the end of the season and we are not yet in the transfer window.

“He will not be there Wednesday but he is one of the best right-backs in the world.”
