Burnley have denied reports that Danny Ings has held talks with Manchester United over a summer move.
Ings, is free to join any club this summer as his contract at Burnley comes to an end.
A number of Premier League sides have been interested, whilst Italian and French clubs have shown interest in making a Bosman move for the 22-year-old.
Whilst, Real Sociedad have also been keen and hosted Ings for contract talks earlier this year, but failed to agree a pre-contract.
It had been speculated over the weekend that United had held talks with the striker over a summer move, but according to various reports, Burnley have now denied such talk.
They claim that according to FIFA rules, only European clubs can talk to Ings regarding a contract this summer.
Burnley have included in his contract that English clubs would only be able to sign a pre-contract with the English striker if he signed a new deal at the club.
