Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent has confirmed that the Paris Saint Germain striker will not be joining Manchester United or Chelsea this summer.

The Swedish international has been an unhappy figure of late in France with PSG and links to the Premier League have gained pace with United and Chelsea said to be keen.

However, according to his agent, Mino Raiola, the 33-year-old will rise above his recent turmoil at the Ligue 1 club and remain in Paris.

Raiola told Foot Mercato: “He will not leave France because of this suspension. This is not what will happen. He is much stronger than that. He fought all his life against people who do not know him and want to test him. He always said, ‘Only God can judge me.”

“He may become even more warlike. Because the more you attack Zlatan, the more Zlatan goes to war. Zlatan was the most important player of the Paris project. And that’s still the case.

“Zlatan can not be on the transfer market. There is no need to ask me that. This is bullshit. Zlatan has a contract with PSG. But, you know, everyone has to write something about Zlatan… Will he be here next year? I answer yes.”
