Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola is keen to offload Bastian Schweinsteiger and Robert Lewandowski and Manchester United are favourites to sign the duo.
Both midfielder Schweinsteiger and striker Lewandowski are fan favourites at the Bavarian club, but boss Guardiola is keen to freshen up his squad for next season and has made plans to sell the duo to Man United.
United have held a long term interest in both, with the latter being linked with a move before he left Borussia Dortmund for Bayern two summers back.
World Cup winner Schweinsteiger has been linked with the Premier League in recent weeks, prompting Chelsea to show interest, however, United remain confident they can lure him to Old Trafford in a cut price deal.
The midfielder is keen to work with boss Louis van Gaal again having done so at the Allianz Arena.
