Arsenal are lining up a deal for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling with a spectacular Theo Walcott plus £20m swap transfer, according to Daily Star.
Arsenal are looking to land £50m-rated Raheem Sterling in the summer, as the winger has encouraged clubs to put forward offers as there is talk that the player won’t sign a new deal at Anfield.
And now it is reported that a move is likely, with both Liverpool and Arsenal looking at a swap deal which involves £20m and Walcott going to Anfield.
As well as Sterling, Walcott is also having contract dispute, and has apparently become surplus to requirements.
Walcott will be seen as an ideal replacement for Sterling and the Reds are free to spend the added cash in other areas.
Arsenal are currently second in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 63 points, with Liverpool in fifth on 54 points.
