Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind is reported to have asked Wesley Sneijder if he would join the club in the summer, according to Fanatik.
Reports claim that Blind has spoken with the Dutch midfielder about a possible summer move and is trying to tempt both Sneijder to move to Old Trafford and boss Louis van Gaal to make the move happen.
The 30-year-old midfielder has long been linked with a move to England, but has failed to see moves to the likes of United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur materialise.
Sneijder is expected to remain in Turkey with Galatasaray for the time being though as his wife is pregnant.
The former Inter Milan midfielder has been in superb form of late, scoring for the Dutch national side in their draw Euro 2016 qualifier with Turkey recently.
Sneijder has won the Süper Lig, Turkish Cup and Turkish Süper Cup since his arrival in Turkey.
