Manchester City are keen to make a summer move for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to Daily Mirror.
Reigning Premier League champions City are keen to improve their options next season and overhaul their squad after a hit and miss season, which has seen them fall behind league leaders Chelsea.
And, having been linked with Liverpool duo Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson in recent weeks, further reports have now surfaced that City officials are keen on Brazilian playmaker Coutinho.
The former Espanyol and Inter Milan man has been in superb form this season and scored the winner for the Reds in their FA Cup quarter-final tie with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening.
Coutinho signed a long term deal with the Anfield club in February, but City believe they can tempt him into a summer move.
The midfielder is said to have an asking price of £35m on his shoulders.
