Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is being linked with a move to West Ham United, according to reports.

The former Liverpool boss will see his current deal expire at the end of the season, prompting various links with a return to the Premier League.

Reports on Sunday in English and Italian press claimed that Benitez was expected to be sacked following a poor run of results, but rather than sack the Spanish boss, the Serie A club will allow him to leave in June.

Benitez has been linked with Manchester City, whom are expected to relieve Manuel Pellegrini of his duties at the end of the season, should they fail to win any silverware.

However, West Ham are now also linked with Benitez their first choice replacement for Sam Allardyce.

Besiktas boss Slaven Bilic is also linked with the role at Upton Park.
