Paris Saint Germain have emerged as favourites to sign Liverpool target Karim Benzema this summer, according to reports.
The French striker is expected to be sold on this summer as Madrid president Florentino Perez looks to re-build his side IF they fail to beat Barcelona to the La Liga title and rivals for the Champions League title.
Benzema has a large number of potential suitors with Liverpool said to be heading that list after years of interest.
However, they are now joined by Ligue 1 champions PSG, who are keen to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, who is expected to leave the club for a move to either England or MLS.
The price of Benzema is unknown but both Brendan Rodgers and Laurent Blanc are willing to do all it takes for one of European football’s most consistent strikers.
