Liverpool are in talks with Monaco to sign Radamel Falcao next season, according to various reports.

After a string of poor performances for United and a lack of playing time under Louis van Gaal, Falcao is now ready to call time on his career at Old Trafford.

Having signed on a one-year loan deal last summer, the Colombian was fully expected to secure a permanent move to United, but he has failed to live up to their expectations, scoring just four goals.

And, after being made to represent United’s U21 side last week, in which he also failed to score; Falcao is now ready to search for a new club.

Super agent Jorge Mendes has recently stated that the former Atletico Madrid striker would join an ‘elite’ club and it is understood that he is now working on a potential move to either Chelsea or Liverpool.

Liverpool are growing closer and closer to a potential move with officials from Anfield having made early discussions with Monaco over a loan move.
