Manchester City will struggle to keep one of their star players as Real Madrid are suggested to be lining up a £70m bid for Sergio Aguero, according to talkSPORT.

City landed Aguero from Real Madrid’s rival club Altletico Madrid for a fee of £35m in 2011, but now Real are looking to double the fee and bring the striker back to Spain.

The 26-year-old has stood out in the City squad since his arrival in England and the club will be hoping to keep hold of him unless he is desperate to leave.

Real president Florentino Perez is a well known fan of the Argentine, and is hoping to lure him to Santiago Bernabeu by convincing him he can achieve more if he was to sign with Real.
