Angel Di Maria is reportedly eager to fight for his spot at Manchester United despite growing interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Telegraph.
Di Maria arrived at Old Trafford in a deal which became British football’s record signing when he moved from Real Madrid to United for £59.7m last summer, but has since failed to make an impact in England.
And now recent reports suggest Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a move and tempt him to make a fresh start in France at the end of the season.
But the Argentina international is said to be keen to make his mark in Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils side.
“None of this business about PSG is coming from Angel and he has no interest in going there,” a source told The Sun.
“It is true things have not gone as he would have liked so far, but he is determined to make it work at United.”
