And according to reports from the Daily Mail, United have offered a revised contract after the midfielder rebuffed their initial offer.

The Red Devils will be careful to not let Pereira emulate Paul Pogba by succeeding away from Old Trafford, but the 19-year-old will be evaluating his first-team opportunities before signing a new deal.

Manchester United are currently fourth in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 59 points, one point behind Arsenal in third.
