Kevin De Bruyne has been in the news lately because of a potential move back to England. De Bruyne currently plays for VFL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

In 2014, De Bruyne made the move to Germany permanently and a year later his fellow Chelsea team-mate Andre Schurrle joined him there.

De Bruyne has been impressing at Wolfsburg for sometime now. In the 2014/15 season De Bruyne has played 25 games and had 16 assists with 9 goals. Numerous teams are currently sending out scouts to monitor the Belgian midfielder.

De Bruyne has been linked with a return back to England, club such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have been keeping a close eye on his progress. The main issue is how much play time De Bruyne got at Chelsea. If he was to join the another big team he could be sitting on the bench for most of the season. At Wolfsburg he is a current starter for every game and is the main man in the midfield.

Kevin De Bruyne has said he would consider a move back to Chelsea FC in the summer of 2015. If he was to re-join his former teammates at Chelsea would there be a place for him? With Willian, Hazard, Oscar, Cuadrado and potentially Salah all trying to make the 11 there’s no guarantee that De Bruyne would even be on the bench.

Bayern Munich have also been another club on the look out for the 23 year old, but Frank Ribbery says despite De Bruyne’s impressive form that the Belgian does not have the right style of play that would fit Pep Guardiola’s tactics.

Where will we see De Bruyne by the end of this year? No one knows.
