Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend is keen to discuss his future with the club, wanting reassurances over first-team football for next season.

Townsend came off the bench to score for England on Tuesday evening in the 1-1 draw with Italy at the Juventus stadium but his season has been less than impressive, having struggled to find consistency and form with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

A number of clubs have shown interest with Southampton and Everton also keen from the Premier League.

Townsend has started the last five successive Tottenham games, but he is keen to explore a guarantee of more minutes after being subbed off at around the hour-mark in the majority of his starts at White Hart Lane.

The 23-year-old began his career with Spurs, having joined them as a youngster in 2000. He was loaned out to an incredible nine clubs before establishing himself as a regular first team player at the club.
