Everton will submit a bid for Dinamo Zagreb youngster Ante Coric, Football Express News understands.
The 17-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form this season for the Croatian side and links to the Premier League have been maintained, mainly to Everton, who continue to scout the youngster on a weekly basis.
Toffees scout Brian Flynn was in attendance at the Euro Under-19 qualifier in Austria recently and has reported back to the Merseyside club, giving them the green light to make a summer move.
Coric has represented Croatia at all levels in youth football and has been tipped to better the careers of Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic.
FEN understands that a bid in the region of £4m would see Everton complete such a move, however, they face stiff competition from the likes of Borussia Dortmund, who have also been keen.
