Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that Arsenal and Juventus have submitted bids to sign Paulo Dybala.

The Serie A club’s chief has discussed on several occasions in 2015 that he would be willing to sell the young Argentine forward, heavily tipped to become the ‘next Sergio Aguero’.

Manchester United and Barcelona have been linked with a summer move, although Zamparini has now confirmed that Arsenal and Juventus are in pole position.

“Juventus and Arsenal have made offers for Dybala,” he told Radio Marte.

“His agent will be in Italy on Friday. I want more than €40 million [£29m] for him.

“Dybala would rather stay in Italy but, from the English sides, Arsenal are his first choice because of how Wenger’s team plays.”
