Barcelona defender Dani Alves has discussed his contract at the club, prompting further interest from Manchester United.

The Brazilian will see his current deal at Camp Nou expire in the summer and he has since been linked with a number of top European clubs, including United, Liverpool and PSG.

Some reports in recent weeks had claimed that the defender had signed a pre-contract with the latter, but those claims have since been denied.

Alves has admitted that he is happy with the Catalan club, although he remained clueless on what the future holds.

He told Globoesporte: “There are three competitions this season. I want to end my contract with titles, so I finish with a good taste in my mouth. Whatever comes next, I’ll accept.

“My heart is happy where I am, with what I have and the colours I defend. It’s not up to me how long I’ll be here.

“I’ll fulfil my part because I have the same desire I had when I came to Barcelona. I have no pre-contract with anyone. I’ve decided to live in the moment and the moment is now.”
