AC Milan’s Robinho could be set for a move away from the San Siro after his agent was unable to confirm the former Brazil striker will play for the Italian giants next season.

Brazilian flair player Robinho joined AC Milan from Manchester City in August 2010 and is under contract with the Serie A side until June 2018.

It does not look likely that the striker will see out the remainder of his contract however, after his agent Marisa Ramos revealed to Italian press that he is in regular discussions with the club over the player’s immediate future.

Ramos hinted the ex-Brazil star would be keen to leave Milan, although nothing has been decided as yet for the 2014/2015 season.

He told MilanNews.it: “I do not know yet if he (Robinho) will remain (at AC Milan) next season.

“Yes, I constantly speak with the club, as does my client, to make sure all the day-to-day requirements are being met.”

There are suggestions that the 30-year-old former Man City favourite, who was worth £32M in his City heyday and is now valued at just £6M, wishes to return to his homeland.

The problem Robinho would face is finding a Brazilian club that can afford to pay anywhere near his current £40K a week wage.
