Football Express News understands that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering the sale of Theo Walcott and replacing him with Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus.

26-year-old Walcott returned from a long injury lay-off in November but a groin injury and poor form has seen his season further disrupted, seeing him make just five starts in all competitions.

Locked in contract negotiations with Arsenal, the former Southampton youngster is now being considered as a summer sale and it is understood that Wenger is keen to pursue a summer move for German winger Reus.

Reus has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent times, having attracted the attention of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.

However, after signing a new contract extension with Dortmund, interest has died off, something which Wenger is keen to take advantage of this summer.
