Where can we see Chelsea in the next five years? Will some key players be heading towards the exit door? Or will we be seeing some of the U-21’s starting for the main squad?

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a creative midfielder who has been with Chelsea since the age of 8. Born in England Loftus-Cheek has been surrounded by football for his entire life. After recently earning a promotion to Chelsea’s main squad Loftus-Cheek has been one of the most talked about players.

Being 6ft 4 Loftus-Cheek’s playing style is similar to Matic. Loftus-Cheek still has many years of developing and getting a place even on the bench for Chelsea could help him develop much faster.

Isaiah Brown is an 18 year old striker and winger, joining Chelsea in the 2014 Summer window he automatically got a shot at first team action in the pre-season friendlies. As well as Loftus-Cheek they are both English. Representing England in the under-16’s, under-17’s and the under-19’s levels, Brown has been showing lots of potential in club and the international stage.

As well as fellow teenager Loftus-Cheek he was promoted to Chelsea’s main squad. In the 2012-13 season while playing for the West Bromich Albion Acadmey side he won the Player of the Year for his academy side.

Dominic Solanke is a 17 year old striker from England. Solanke still very young has been exceeding expectations in the Academy side and deservedly earned a place on the bench for Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League game against NK Maribor, coming on for Oscar in the 73rd minute Solanke got a good taste of what being in the first side would be like.

In May 2014, Solanke was part of the England squad that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17’s Championship. Solanke was the tournaments joint top scorer with 4 goals in 4 appearances including some crucial goals like the England’s goal in the final. In January 2015, Solanke was named England’s Men’s Youth Player of the Year 2014.

Could we see anyone of these players making regular starts for the main squad?
