Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has told the club he would like a pay-rise in any new deal at the club.
Talks over a new deal started earlier in March as the England international edges closer to the final year of his current contract.
However, it is understood that those talks have now stalled with the former Southampton youngster keen to increase his current wages from £90,000 to £120,000 per week.
Walcott has struggled to make an impact this season through injury problems and a lack of form, so it is yet to be seen if boss Arsene Wenger will offer him such a deal.
Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring the situation.
