Arsenal’s Champions League conqueror eyes Premier League role

Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim wants to land a role in the Premier League after guiding his side past Arsenal in the Champions League.

The 40-year-old, saw his side progress past Arsenal on the away goals rule on Tuesday and will now take their place in the Champions League draw for the quarter-final stage with the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Jardim recently signed a two-year deal with the Ligue 1 side but reports in France and England have now claimed that the Portuguese coach would ideally like to find a role in the Premier League.

Monaco currently sit fourth in the French league, and were expected to exit the Champions League early after losing the likes of James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao but Jardim has mastered their revival, gaining plaudits from a number of high profile coaches and media men in the game.

Jardim, is widely renowned for his managerial rise after taking up his first role at the age of just 27 with Camacha. He has since managed the likes of Porto, Sporting Lisbon and Olympiacos.
