Juventus will meet with Palermo president Maurizio Zamperini later this week to discuss terms on a deal for Paulo Dybala, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The young Argentine forward has been in superb form this season for Italian side Palermo, scoring 12 goals in 25 games so far, gaining interest from a high number of top European clubs.
Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Man City and Arsenal have all been interested, and it is the latter who had been leading interest after talks with the players officials over the winter period.
However, Juventus now look set to jump the queue as they have planned talks with Palermo president Zamperini for later this week.
Zamparini discussed Dybala last week and claimed that an unnamed side had made a £30m bid, saying: “Has Dybala already been picked up by Juve? Absolutely not.
“I already have a €40m (£30m) offer in my hand, but if someone else gets into the race then we’ll see what happens. Were Manchester United behind this offer? I won’t tell you the name of the club, not even if you torture me!”
Barcelona are also said to be keen, with Dybala recently claiming that he would ‘swim to Barcelona if they came knocking’.
