Arsenal are ready to make a summer bid for Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic, Football Express News understands.
The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to a number of European clubs in recent times with Liverpool and Manchester United linked from the Premier League.
The latter had been monitoring the situation of the attacking midfielder for some-time after his role in the Inter side became questioned last season, but it is now being reported that Arsenal have joined the race and have gone as far to prepare a summer bid of £20m.
The Croatian international is seen as a top transfer target for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who is keen to rebuild certain areas of his side after exiting the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Arsenal are also being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Nevan Subotic.
