Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a summer move for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, Football Express News understands.

The Premier League champions completed a £27m move for the Ivorian striker from Swansea City in the latter stages of the January transfer window, which led to numerous reports that Bosnian strike Dzeko would be moved on.

A number of Bundesliga sides have maintained their interest with former club Wolfsburg said to be keen, whilst Spurs have been looking closely at the striker this season.

And, it is understood that after hearing of City’s desire to sell Dzeko for a fee of £20m this summer; Mauricio Pochettino is now ready to make his move.

Pochettino is keen to replace both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, who have failed to live up to expectations on White Hart Lane this season.

Dzeko is therefore seen as the perfect strike partner for in-form Harry Kane.
