Steven Gerrard makes his return from injury but only the bench for Liverpool against Swansea City in Monday night’s Premier League game.
It has been heavily debated whether or not Liverpool captain Gerrard would instantly return to the starting line-up following his injury and Brendan Rodgers’ selection against Garry Monk’s Swansea has seen the former England international benched.
Gerrard will call time on his Anfield career later this year as he jets off to the United States where he will join LA Galaxy.
Liverpool have been on a good run of form recently with the likes of Joe Allen playing well in Gerrard’s absence.
Meanwhile, Bafetimbi Gomis returns for Swansea City after his unfortunate incident against Tottenham Hotspur which saw him leave the field having fallen to the ground.
