Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed his unhappiness at his team’s performance after they lost to Manchester United on Sunday.
The North London side were unable to get going at Old Trafford and saw three first half goals from United ruin any chance they had of getting a result.
Wayne Rooney was instrumental for United as they kept hold of their 3-0 lead and won all three points, and Pochettino has revealed his disappointment at his side’s lack of desire and willingness to break down United.
Speaking to Sky Sports News after the match, Pochettino said: “We are disappointed because our performance today was very poor and we have to analyse why.
“After we conceded the first goal it seemed that the game was finished and we never found a way to damage Manchester United. We were never in the game.”
