Nemanja Vidic is being linked with a shock return to Manchester United after further debating his future under new Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini.
The Serbian defender called time on his career with Man United over the summer and made the move to Italy but he has since struggled with fitness and failed to break into Mancini’s starting eleven since the former Manchester City boss took over before the turn of the year.
Vidic is now considering his future at the club, which has prompted talk of a move back to Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old still has contacts with the English club and with Louis van Gaal desperate to bolster his defensive options; could be the perfect signing.
Vidic joined Inter on a free transfer in June, meaning it is likely that they could allow him to leave on a cheap deal.
