Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has played down reports he is trying to lure Barcelona forward Lionel Messi to London.
The pair are close friends from their time at Barcelona, first before Fabregas left for Arsenal and then after, when he re-joined his boy-hood club.
And, after being spotted in a Spanish casino last week, many reports surfaced that the Chelsea man was attempting to lure Messi into a summer switch to Stamford Bridge.
Messi visited London on Monday and Tuesday as Luis Enrique gave his players a two-day break and was once again seen leaving a casino/restaurant/bar with the former Gunners captain.
“This is my private life,” Fabregas told reporters when asked about his relationship with Messi.
“I do what I feel makes me and my family happy and I have nothing to say about any picture that is away from football. I have nothing to say about that.”
