Paris Saint Germain captain Thiago Silva has accused Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho of showing a lack of respect following Wednesday night’s Champions League tie.

The Brazilian defender gave away an extra-time penalty which Eden Hazard converted but he later made immense, scoring the all-important away goal for the Ligue 1 side.

Portuguese boss Mourinho said that the visitors deserved to win following the game, but Silva believes that he still believed the game would be an easy one for the Premier League leaders.

“It was not revenge, but they didn’t respect us, especially Mourinho,” Silva told reporters.

“After the draw, he said he preferred to play against PSG because Paris was near London and it was easier for supporters to come. But I don’t think that was the reason. Mourinho said that because of his win against us last year.”
