Chelsea legend Didier Drogba hopes for double celebrations ahead of tonight’s match against PSG.

The veteran forward turns 37 today and will be expected to make the substitutes bench for the crucial Champions League last 16 tie.

Drogba entered Chelsea folk law following his heroics in the 2012 Munich final, however the current crop of talent are aiming to repeat the success.

Surprisingly the return of Drogba to the club has been somewhat overshadowed by the excellent transfer business done in the form of Diego Costa and Cesc Fàbregas who have impressed this season.

A valuable away goal in Paris three weeks ago has given the Blues a slight advantage in the tie but boss Jose Mourinho told the Daily Mail he is expecting a close encounter:

“We have a big opponent, a big game and the first leg is an open result. So we have a big job to do.”

The most optimistic of fans would dream for a Drogba winner off the bench tonight and you wouldn’t be surprised if the Ivorian popped up again to add to his 36 goals in 73 appearances in the Champions League for Chelsea.

Mourinho has a full fit squad to choose from including the returning Nemanja Matić, who was recently suspended for the League Cup final.
