Pedro Rodriguez has said he could be forced to consider his future at Barcelona this summer, amidst interest from Premier League sides.

The 27-year-old Spanish international has been a key player for Barca since he was handed his debut by former boss Pep Guardiola in 2008, whilst his form has seen him hold down a regular spot with Spain.

However, the arrivals of Neymar and Luis Suarez in recent years at Camp Nou have seen the Tenerife born winger replaced and it was fully expected that he will be sold this summer.

Pedro, whose current deal expires in 2016, is currently valued at £22m by the Catalan club, making the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United keen to explore the possibility of a summer move.

“I am going through a difficult period,” he told BeIn Sports.

“It is clear that I am having a tough time to find a place in the team at the moment. I have had few chances to play this season.

“I will consider my options in the summer and will then talk with the club to discuss my future.

“But I am focused on Barcelona for now and keen to play my part. I must wait for my chance and take it when it comes.”
