Real Madrid and Juventus have agreed to share Alvaro Morata’s £60m release fee if either Arsenal or Liverpool sign the player this summer.

Spanish striker Morata’s future has been up for debate in recent weeks after some impressive displays for Juventus, leading to interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Paris Saint Germain.

The 22-year-old signed for the Turin side last summer in a £15m deal but many reports have claimed he could return to Madrid as part of their buy-back clause.

Whilst his future remains unsolved, Madrid and Juve officials have met to discuss what would happen should the Spaniard move elsewhere.

And, they have agreed not to sell him to either Man City or PSG, but would be willing to sell to Arsenal or Liverpool, if a £60m release clause is met.
