Tottenham scouts were in attendance to watch Yevhen Konoplyanka perform for Dnipro last week in their Europa League tie with Olympiakos.

The Ukrainian winger is out of contract this summer and has been previously linked with a number of Premier League sides, including Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal and Spurs.

And, it is the latter who have continued their interest by employing scouts to watch the winger closely.

Konoplyanka was in impressive form during the game, recording an assist and four shots on goal.

Impressed by what they saw last Thursday evening, Spurs bosses are now ready to offer the Ukraine international a contract ahead of a summer move.

The aforementioned sides are likely to pursue a free transfer move also, however, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino believes the winger will be a better alternative to Erik Lamela, who continues to struggle at White Hart Lane.
