Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe has been ruled out of action until April after suffering knee ligament damage last week.

The 19-year-old has been in superb form since the turn of the year and has forced his way into Brendan Rodgers’ starting eleven, becoming a prominent figure on the right hand side.

Ibe was forced to sit out the 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Premier League after picking up the injury in the Europa League defeat to Besiktas on Thursday evening; a game in which he was praised once more.

The extent of the injury has since been revealed by the club and the English youngster will now miss four weeks of action.

It is expected that he will return for the away visit to Arsenal on April 4th.
