Arsenal legend Bob Wilson has called Piers Morgan ‘pompous’ after he called for Arsene Wenger’s sacking.
A drastic 3-1 defeat to Monaco on Wednesday night in the Champions League saw Arsenal fans once again question the direction of the club and whether or not Wenger was the correct man in charge.S
Social media erupted following the game with many calling for the Frenchman to be sacked, with one those included – Piers Morgan.
The Journalist is a familiar voice on Twitter in his opinion of the Gunners and he tweeted following the defeat:

Many fans reacted, whilst former keeper Bob Wilson reacted negatively, calling Morgan a ‘pompous’ and that he ‘has never been a proper fan’.
However, it is known that Morgan holds four season tickets, 10 shares in the club and has attended every game this season at Emirates stadium.
Morgan was backed on Twitter by several well known celebrities, including Robbie Savage.
