Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea will not sign a new deal at the club unless it features a £30m release clause, according to AS.

Strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, De Gea is also in negotiations with United over a new deal after his performances this season have gained him high recognition in European football.

According to Spanish reports, the former Atletico Madrid number one is not happy with the €65m release clause United want to install in his new contract and is holding out for a figure of €30m (£22.2m).

The 24 year old goalkeeper is firmly seen as Iker Casillas’s replacement at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Meanwhile, further reports in Spain claim Madrid could make a summer move for Radamel Falcao with agent Jorge Mendes keen to push his client towards an ‘elite’ club after failing to make an impact in the Premier League this season.
