Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have joined the race to sign Palermo forward Paulo Dybala, Football Express News understands.

The Argentine youngster has been in superb form this season and has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs.

Dybala, who has been likened to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero in recent weeks has been tipped to leave the Italian club this summer, with his relationship to president Zamperini having deteriorated.

Officials of Arsenal and Palermo met last Friday morning to discuss the terms over a deal and although reports claimed that a deal worth £29.5m will be reached with the personal terms left to agree; it later emerged that the youngster wanted to talk with Chelsea.

And, following that report, it is now understood that both Man United and Dortmund have made moves to also bid for the forward.

It looks certain that Dybala will leave Palermo this summer but a transfer battle has now emerged.
