West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that new signing Nene is unfit and will need two weeks before he is available for selection.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker signed for the Hammers earlier this week after being released from Qatari side Al-Gharafa last month.
However, despite his arrival, Hammers boss Allardyce has said the Brazilian needs time to build up his fitness.
“Nene isn’t ready physically yet,” he told reporters. “He’s just started training with us, it’ll be about 10 days maybe two weeks before he’s ready.
“It’s great to have a player like Nene, with his CV, at the club. We’re all looking forward to seeing him play.”
