Dani Alves’s agent, Dinorah Santa Ana, has hit out at Barcelona for not offering the defender a new deal.
The 31-year-old’s existing deal runs out at the end of the season and he has been linked with a number of European sides, including Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United.
Some reports in Catalan press claim that officials from Barca have offered a one year extension to the Brazilian international, but his agent has denied such reports.
“It is not true that Barcelona have offered Dani Alves a new one-year deal,” Dinorah told COPE.
“Disappointed is not the right word, but we are very sad with Barcelona’s attitude. There has not even been a call and nor has there been contact at any moment.
“We are more sad than disappointed. We expected a call from the club by now. Dani Alves is a starter, plays nearly every game and gets along well with Luis Enrique.
“We are listening to offers from other clubs. There have been some offers, all from teams outside Spain.
“He has five or six more years in him at the highest level. He is very professional.”
The right-back has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season.
