Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed his excitement to facing Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The defending champions breezed through to the next round of the FA Cup with a win over Middlesbrough last weekend, whilst United beat Preston North End 3-1.
And, having booked their place in the quarter-finals, Gunners boss Wenger is excited at the prospect of facing Louis van Gaal’s United side.
“It’s an interesting and exciting draw,” Wenger told the club’s official website. “We are the holders of this cup and we want to do absolutely everything to keep it. At some stage you have [to play the bigger teams].
“Last year we played Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham and that’s what you do to get through. It’s a good opportunity for us that we want to take.”
United will host Arsenal at Old Trafford on March 9th.
