Man United target says cryptic goodbye to Barca team-mates

Manchester United target Dani Alves has given the clearest indication yet that he may leave Barcelona in the summer.

The 31-year-old defender has been attracting a number of top European clubs in recent weeks, given that his contract with the Catalan giants comes to an end in June.

Having spent seven years at Camp Nou, Alves is expected to call time on his career with Barca, having failed to negotiate a new deal up until this point.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been credited with interest, whilst Paris Saint Germain are also keen.

And, all of the aforementioned will be keeping a close eye on his situation after he sent a cryptic message via his official Instagram account.

He took a picture alongside teammates Adriano, Rafinha, Douglas and Neymar, and wrote: “Family of Brazil, my pride, to be part of this quintet does me good. If I have to go, it will be with courage, with a nice smile and with happiness in my heart.”

Of course, this could be a message to Barca officials to offer him a new deal, whilst Lionel Messi has also spoken with boss Luis Enrique about a new deal for the Brazilian.
