Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi has hinted that he could be set for a return to Italian side Napoli.
The Argentine attacker has found life at Paris Saint Germain hard this season, having struggled to hold down a regular starting place under boss Laurent Blanc.
Having won two Ligue 1 titles, two French Super Cups and the Coupe de la Ligue in his two seasons at Parc des Princes, Lavezzi has now discussed a potential summer exit, hinting that he could return to Napoli.
A whole host of clubs have been linked with the forward this season, including Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool.
“Me paired with [Gonzalo] Higuain? Why not? I do miss Italy,” he told Sky Italia.
“If I went back [to Italy], Napoli would be my first choice. We will have to see if I want to.
“I’m at PSG now, [but] at the end of the season we shall see what happens.”
The 29-year-old has netted four goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances so far this term.
Lavezzi has a contract with PSG until June 2016.
