Morata: Me and Man United target Pogba are happy in Turin

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has said that he and team-mate Paul Pogba are happy with life in Turin after links to Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Spanish youngster Morata has been linked with a return back to Spain with reigning European champions Real Madrid, whilst the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with interest.

Meanwhile, his team-mate and French international, Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to both Madrid and United also.

However, Morata claims that both he and Pogba are happy with life in Turin and have no desire to leave the Serie A champions.

“Could Pogba go to Madrid? He’s young and he’s among the best in the world, but he’s happy at Juventus,” Morata was quoted as saying by AS.

“I’m happy here,” Morata added. “I don’t know the size of the release clause. Madrid and Juventus know how much it is, but I can’t allow myself to stop and think about that.

“It’s tough in Serie A. It’s very difficult to score. We work a lot more on the physical side of things here.

“It took me a while to adapt and to feel good on the pitch, but every day I feel stronger and faster.”

Morata has netted eight goals in 26 appearances this season.
