Borussia Dortmund are considering a move for Shkodran Mustafi as Mats Hummels’ move to Manchester United took further steps forward.
Superdeporte have claimed that Bundesliga side Dortmund are planning a summer move for Valencia defender Mustafi as they seek to replace Man United bound Mats Hummels.
The German central defender has long been linked with a move away from Dortmund and those reports have now gathered pace as the Bundesliga side continue to struggle domestically, sitting rock bottom of the league.
Hummels, has now agreed in principle a move to Old Trafford for the summer.
The World Cup winner will fill a huge gap in central defence for United boss Louis van Gaal, who has struggled for consistency in that role after both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand left last summer.
Meanwhile, Mustafi, who joined Valencia in the summer has impressed, gaining himself six caps for the German national side.
