Man United given Ronaldo boost as Madrid prepare to sell

Manchester United have received a major boost in their bid to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford as Real Madrid president Florentino Perez prepares to cash in on the 30-year-old.

All seems not well between Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid as news coming out from the Spanish captial has it that club President, Florentino Perez is entertaining thoughts of selling the current FIFA Ballon D’Or player of the year.

The Portuguese forward has just turned 30 and it now believed that after a controversial party which he held on the same day Madrid lost to rivals Atletico and his poor form has forced Perez to seriously consider selling the winger.

Clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG who can afford to cough up Real’s asking price have been alerted to his potential sale.

Although, it’s widely believed he’ll favour a move back to Manchester United should he move and the Red Devils are listening with open ears to the developments in Madrid.

Ronaldo has now gone three La Liga games without scoring a goal.
