Preview: Luiz reunion as Chelsea travel to Paris

Chelsea will face former defender David Luiz as they travel to France to play Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Brazilian defender has been in remarkable form since leaving Chelsea last summer for a reported £50m and was installed in the FIFPro World XI at the recent Ballon d’Or awards for his performances at Parc des Princes and for Brazil in the World Cup.

Another reunion on Tuesday night will see good friends, Jose Mourinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who spent time working together at Italian side Inter Milan.

Chelsea will fondly remember their win over PSG last term and they will be buoyed by the absence of Yohan Cabaye, Blaise Matuidi, Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura, who are all ruled out with injury.

Meanwhile, Brazilian central defender Marquinhos is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Jose Mourinho has not such problems and can call on Diego Costa, suspended for the last three Premier League games, to make the starting eleven.

The home side have struggled recently in Ligue 1, drawing two of their last three games, including a dismal 2-2 draw with Caen at the week, which they led 2-0 at one stage.

Chelsea have been in good form, having maintained their lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

PSG possible starting lineup: Sirigu; Maxwell, Thiago Silva, Luiz, Van der Wiel; Verratti, Matuidi, Motta; Lavezzi, Cavani, Ibrahimovic

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic; Matic, Fabregas; Oscar, Willian, Hazard, Costa
